About speed dating Our speed dating evening is great fun. For best results we recommend you come along with an open mind and don't take it too seriously. You'll have a great time, you'll meet lots of single people and you might meet someone special. How Speed Dating works When you arrive you will see a mybookstogo.com host in a T-shirt who will register you in to the event and give you a scorecard, a name badge and a pen, then invite you to have a drink at the bar. Once everyone has arrived the mybookstogo.com host will explain how speed dating works and answer any questions. Then the dating begins. Usually women will stay seated while men will rotate every three minutes when the bell rings. After each date participants mark on a scorecard whether they would like to see that person again. At the end of the evening many people stay around to chat to the people they've just met. After the event At the end of the evening everyone hands in their scorecards to the mybookstogo.com host. Once the scorecards are tabulated, you will be emailed the names and contact information of those on your list who've also placed you on their list!
